Stealing Your Identity

I have been receiving calls on my cell phone past two or three years. People ask for scanners. In the begining I was surprised why they are asking me for some kind of scanner. Then I started inquiring them to tell me more about the site from where they are getting information about me and the product they are looking for. Some one from Lahore helped me and he sent me a few links. I was surprised to see what was being done. Some one is misusing my identity and selling Auto Scanners and other similar products, some of those can be used even in car thefts. Here is an examples:

Identity stealing is very popular in this high tech age. It is not only your credit card or bank details people may steal and misuse, this may be your name and contact details people misuse. In this popular example, they are using my name, contact details and even my cell number but when some one send the message online, it is send to them. It is quite normal that when you find some page on net, you send him message using email or other web submission method and usually do not call. You only call when there is no reply after a few days. Same thing is happening here. I do not know who has done this either from China or Pakistan but one thing is sure, some one is misusing my identity and may be he is selling equipments to car thieves too.

Be careful about your identity and do report it to concerned authorities.

Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test to be replaced by Qualified Lawyers Transfer Scheme

The legal Services Board has approved the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Scheme Regulations, 2010. The Qualified Lawyers Transfer Regulations (QLTR) and Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test will be replaced by Qualified Lawyers Transfer Scheme (QLTS) on 1st Septemeber, 2010.

It means all those lawyers from foreign jurisdictions those have already obtained their Certificates of Eligibility or those who are going to apply or have already applied but have not obtained their Certificates must hurry up. The last date is 31st August, 2010 and after this very tough regulations are coming into force including IELTS score of around 7+ Bands.

This is a strange country, you can not do any thing unless you involve some kind of Molvi or Mullah. In every ritual and every part of your life, there are molvi's involved and I am not surprised when I find that you can not print any thing unless you get attestation from some molvi (Mullah) that the the design is not against Islam.......Just see yourself!

10 Easy Tips to help you with a UK immigration application

Preparing your own immigration application to apply for a visa to the UK or extending your current leave may seem an overwhelming experience, however we wish to help you with 10 easy tips which you can apply to navigate the process.

1. Read and read again the immigration requirements specific to your own category. You have selected your immigration category and even established through the UK Border Agency (UKBA) points based calculator that you are able to claim enough points to qualify, well done! However, make sure that you identify the specific requirements by checking www.bia.homeoffice.gov.uk/policyandlaw/immigrationlaw/immigrationrules/

2. Do not cut corners. If in doubt, always assume that the UKBA or the British Embassy will not exercise their discretion in your favour. Most of the requirements are mandatory and you will need to show that you do meet these by providing the required evidence. Never assume a caseworker will apply common sense when considering their application, they have a limited time and resources to establish your exact situation thus make sure that you explain in detail your circumstances and provide evidence to support your claims. Be particularly careful when it comes to the maintenance requirement!

3. Prepare the application form with accuracy. Reduce the chances of a refusal by carefully completing the application form, make sure that you have filled-in all relevant sections, answer truthfully all the questions (especially in case of a prior refusal), sign and date the application form.

4. Evidence. All documents unless specified need to be original. Your application might be refused on the basis that you have only provided copies or not all the required evidence. Make copies of everything you send to the UKBA/ British High Commission.

5. Cover letter. Always prepare a cover letter to accompany the application bundle explaining your immigration history, how you meet the different points and listing all the documents.

6. Payment. This might be an obvious tip, however make sure that you have paid the correct fee and if you have decided to pay by credit card, alert your bank of the impending transaction or in the alternative pay by postal orders or banker draft. An invalid application can have very serious consequences.

7. Post using special recorded delivery. This might again be self explanatory, but it’s SAFER to send your bundle by special delivery than dealing with the headache and repercussion of a lost passport or important documents.

8. Always check your visa expiry date! If you were to make an application after the expiry of your leave, you might lose your right of appeal!

9. Do not wait until the last minute to submit the application! Try to allow sufficient time for the submission and the processing of the application before you make any travel arrangements.

10. Legal advice does not have to be expensive! If your situation is not straightforward, you had previous refusals/adverse immigration history, or if you are not fully confident you have all relevant documentation speak to an immigration solicitor or an OISC registered consultants. They often offer documents checking service which is cheaper than the full representation and could buy you a peace of mind as well as save you the government fee if your application is unsuccessful.

Finally My One World is arriving

It took several months before the exact shape and theme for My One World site was decided. Now it is final. Let me discuss a few things about My One World.

About/Theme

It is all about immigration, study abroad, visa application preparation, business setup abroad, travel, lanuage programs and related affairs. It is all about the My One World when you have to move from one part to other either temporarily or permanently.

The Design

The design of the site is final now. It is the simplest form and instead of making it complicated with pictures and animations, we have decided to make it informative, more and more stuff with less pictures and almost zero animation on it. This would give us a chance to bring more stuff for people and also search engine friendly. But it does not mean the animated things would be kept away, it is only placing on the site, but those would linked here.

Launch

We expect this site shall never be completed as more and more stuff continue to arrive and we continue putting it on the site, so whenever it is presentable form, it would be announced. We expect it would be launched around end of November, 2009 and after that would continue to add more and more stuff on it.

Why We?

May be you have noticed i used We instead of me, it is because when i was using we i wanted to let you know there is a team behind it and not only me. So i used "we" instead of me. Now that team is temporary expect two members, when our team is final, i shall let you know who is who.
